My name is Jason Delgado and I cover news out of the state capital for USA TODAY - Florida.

I am recent graduate of Poynter's TV Reporting Academy and a National Press Foundation fellow.

After serving in the Army, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in political science and national security.

My previous bylines include Florida Politics, POLITICO and WMFE-NPR.
